I consider myself a “professional jester,” and have been called, among other things, the “Weird Val” of Cabaret. I am the founder and CEO of Cyphyre Music, LLC, and we currently produce a monthly live performance of what can best be described as “21st Century Vaudeville” in Hollywood. I am the talent booker as well as the show's MC. My goal is to shop it around as a possible television show, as well as a touring company eventually.

Cyphyre Music, LLC has also been involved as executive producer to the seminal punk band Butt Trumpet, notorious for being the only band of that genre to be signed by EMI Records ten years after that company fired the Sex Pistols and swore “Never Again!”

As far as my projects related to social issues, I have independently-produced Cabaret 4 Choice™ which is a live musical/theatrical  performance, and CD, to raise awareness about everyone's right to choose, with proceeds to benefit pro-choice agencies and organizations across the country.

It is my first brainchild of what I hope will be many more similar projects on various relevent social causes.  I created and produced this theatrical production and CD because I wanted to do something more proactive to help make a difference on this important issue.

I describe the project as “Info-tainment,” since the goal of Cabaret4Choice is “to reach and not to preach.” While not all the songs are humorous, most of them are, because I believe that laughter opens people up to receiving a message that might not be that easy to digest otherwise.

I would like to offer thanks everyone who made the Cabaret4Choice project possible, as well as all who believe in freedom of choice, and I look forward to meeting many kindred spirits who wish to co-create future projects along similar lines on other issues.
